The role

We’re recruiting for an experienced Valuer / Sales Manager to join an established independent estate agency in Southsea, Portsmouth.

This is a hands-on position combining valuations, business generation and sales leadership. You’ll play a key role in winning new instructions, developing vendor relationships and driving the performance of the sales office.

• Carrying out market appraisals and converting valuations into instructions
• Generating new business and increasing local market share
• Supporting, motivating and developing the sales team
• Driving sales performance while maintaining high standards of customer service

We’re looking for someone with a proven track record in residential estate agency, particularly in winning instructions and developing business.

You’ll need to be commercially minded, confident in front of vendors and comfortable taking responsibility for results. Previous management experience would be an advantage, although a successful Valuer or Assistant Manager ready for greater responsibility could also be considered.
