What’s the role?

I’m looking for an experienced Property/Lettings Manager for a unique opportunity in the Bournemouth area.

My client is a private landlord with around 200 properties in the Bournemouth area. They are looking for a really good all rounder, capable of looking after all aspects of the properties for the course of the tenancy.

Responsibilities include:

• Liaising with tenants on maintenance issues and organising timely repairs.
• Liaising with tenants on ad hoc tenancy matters.
• Responsibility for ensuring the timely payment of rents and collection of arrears.
• Periodically serving notices and attending court proceedings if required.
• Liaison with utility companies.
• Dealing with deposit returns, disputes and potential deductions.
• Arranging and overseeing maintenance works to include full refurbishments.
• Carrying out regular property visits.
• Organising estimates for repair or maintenance works on behalf of Landlords.
• Arranging check in and check out inventories as needed.
• Negotiating renewals and prepare the paperwork.
• Checking and approving references.
• Authorising contractors invoices.
• Working with initiative and also part of a team.
