The role

We’re recruiting for a Lettings Negotiator to join an established property business in Southampton.

This is a busy, hands-on role where you’ll work with prospective tenants, conduct viewings, negotiate lets and help ensure properties are occupied quickly with the right tenants.

You’ll be dealing with a substantial portfolio of residential property, so there should be plenty of activity and opportunity to earn.

• Register and qualify prospective tenants
• Arrange and conduct property viewings
• Negotiate offers and agree tenancies
• Follow up enquiries and maximise opportunities
• Build relationships with tenants throughout the process
• Work closely with the wider property and management team

They’re looking for someone confident, personable and commercially minded who enjoys speaking to people and getting deals done.

Previous lettings experience would be an advantage, although someone with a strong sales or customer service background and the right attitude could also be worth considering.
