The role

We’re recruiting for an experienced Sales Progressor / Sales Administrator to join an established independent estate agency in Portsmouth.

The main focus of the position is sales progression. You’ll take responsibility for agreed sales, keeping chains moving and working closely with buyers, sellers, solicitors, mortgage brokers and other agents to overcome problems and get transactions through to completion.

Alongside progression, you’ll provide administrative support to the sales team, helping ensure the office and sales process run smoothly.

• Take ownership of sales from offer agreed through to completion
• Carry out chain checks and identify potential problems early
• Maintain regular communication with buyers and sellers
• Liaise closely with solicitors, brokers and other agents
• Help resolve the inevitable issues that arise during a property transaction
• Provide wider sales administration and support when required

Previous estate agency sales progression experience is important. They need somebody who understands the house-moving process and can confidently take ownership of transactions rather than requiring extensive training.
